BABY HYDROTHERAPY

Baby hydrotherapy sessions take place in a spa, a specially designed mini Jacuzzi. The babies are fitted with a neck float so they can float and have freedom of movement in their legs and arms.
Water is used for its benefits, whether it is sea water or thermal spring water. The bath water is at 37°, and the ambient air at 27°.
The benefits of water are very numerous; water strengthens bone and muscle tissues.
With this impression of floating in warm water, the child recaptures intra-uterine sensations. Above all, spa sessions bring him many key benefits.
Between 15 days and 3 months, a baby may be prone to colic, those tummy aches that lead to crying fits and restless nights. Thanks to the movement of the water, these pains can be eased
significantly.
Baby spa sessions do, indeed, have a positive impact on the system digestive aid. They can also reduce the risk of neonatal jaundice after the birth. Finally they reduce the pain related to teething, which are starting generally between 4 and 8 months.
In the spa, baby is invited to move freely using a patented neck float. Thus they enjoy the gentle resistance of the water which helps them increase their muscular and skeletal strength. This subtle strength also reinforces the intercostal muscles and the respiratory system.
For children who struggle to fall asleep, spa sessions are a great solution. They gently encourage rest and relaxation thanks to the movement of the waves. What's more, the slight resistance of the water provides them with suitable physical activity. Within just a few sessions, you will see your little one's sleep onset difficulties resolve. And at the same time, you'll get your own proper night's sleep back!
Spa sessions are with the parents to enhance the parental bond and also to ensure the baby feels secure.
